About the Duarte Community Coordinating Council
The DCCC is a non-profit organization whose membership is open to any non-profit group headquartered in or near the City of Duarte. Since 1997 the DCCC has managed the Rose Float Concession Committee (RFC), a non-profit enterprise supported by our members to provide goods and services to the visitors of the Duarte Buena Vista Pavilion. Funds raised at the event are shared among our participating members. Volunteer efforts through the RFC are beneficial to the local non-profit organizations of Duarte, which reflects the purpose of the DCCC as written in our by-laws:

Our purpose is to encourage the voluntary cooperation of organizations, agencies and individuals interested in making the community a better place to live.

As many as 300 volunteers from DCCC member non-profits are expected to welcome and serve Buena Vista Pavilion visitors this year. Because of major sponsors such as Gavina/Don Francisco Gourmet Coffee, Southern California Edison, City of Hope, City of Duarte and others, volunteer groups will earn funds to help support community programs and year-round activities for their respective non-profit organizations.

Buena Vista Pavilion is home to Fiesta Parade Floats, the Rose Parade's most honored float builder. Fiesta has built more than 136 prize-winning floats in the past 19 years, including 14 consecutive Sweepstakes Trophies, the parade's highest achievement. Fiesta's president Tim Estes, renowned float designer Raul Rodriguez and floral designer Jim Hynd, combine their creative talents each year. The results - artistic excellence and natural beauty, crafted into the Tournament of Roses Parade’s “Passport to the World's Celebrations” theme.

These are the non-profit organizations serving you at the Buena Vista Pavilion.
