Home Floats Under Contruction Buena Vista Pavilion Souvenirs About DCCC

"Passport to the World’s Celebrations" is the theme of the 2008 New Year's Day Rose Parade. Excitement is as close to home as the official Tournament of Roses Buena Vista Pavilion Float Decorating and Public Viewing Site at 2144 Buena Vista St. in Duarte. The decorating home of Duarte-based Fiesta Parade Floats — the Tournament’s leading award-winning float builder — will be open from December 28 through December 31. Visitors will enjoy a unique behind-the-scenes look at last minute preparations on some of the Rose Parade’s most beautiful floats.

Fiesta Parade Floats is building 12 floats for the 2008 Rose Parade. Two of the floats, including the Queen’s float, sponsored by Macy’s, will be completed at Fiesta's float factory. The other 10 floats will be decorated at the Buena Vista Pavilion and can be viewed by the public.

Duarte is celebrating its 12th year as home to the Buena Vista Pavilion, the preferred public viewing site of some 40,000 tourists each year. It is the only official site that offers guided public tours in English and Spanish and for the physically challenged. You will enjoy plenty of convenient parking, food, refreshments, and a full array of official Tournament of Roses and championship college football souvenirs.

Anyone interested in volunteering to assist is encouraged to call the DCCC at (626) 256-0155. Volunteers are needed to work as tour guides, parking lot attendants, and at concession stands.
